The proclamation of the Word of God is an important moment of our Celebration. As with many activities, we consider this ministry as a way of serving the Lord and our community. 

The Lector proclaims the readings from Sacred Scripture, with the exception of the Gospel. He or she may also announce the intentions for the universal prayer. 

In the procession to the altar, in the absence of a Deacon, the reader, wearing approved attire, may carry the Book of the Gospel to the altar.

La proclamación de la Palabra De Dios es una momento importante de nuestra celebración. Como muchas de nuestras actividades la consideramos un ministerio, un modo de servir al Señor y la nuestra comunidad. 

El lector es instituido para proclamar las lecturas de la Biblia, con la excepción del Evangelio. El o ella puede también leer las intenciones de la oración de los fieles. 

En la procesión hacia el altar, en ausencia de diácono, el lector, vestido adecuadamente puede llevar en procesión el Evangeliario.
